Online enrollment for Kindergarten or Developmental Kindergarten at Rockford Public Schools for the 2019-2020 school year is now available under the enrollment tab on the district website .  Please read the below parameters when considering your student for enrollment:

If your future student will turn five years old BEFORE April 30, 2019, the district recommendation is a Kindergarten placement.

If your future student will turn five years old BETWEEN May 1st and August 31, 2019 the district recommendation is to sign up for screening.  The Lakes screening, for those students who specifically live within the Lakes district or whose parent/guardian will be applying for attendance at Lakes via Schools of Choice, will be held on April 17, 2019.  The link to the screening will be emailed to you directly from the Lakes office after completion of the the online enrollment (see first sentence above).

If your future student will turn five years old BETWEEN September 1 and December 1, 2019 the district recommendation is a Developmental Kindergarten placement.  In addition, Michigan legislation requires a signed age waiver for those students who will not be five years old on or before September 1, 2019.

The Lakes Parent Orientation (parents only :-)) will be held on Wednesday, March 13 from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. in the Lakes library.
