MARCH/APRIL AFTERGRAD 2010 NEWS
REGISTER NOW for AfterGrad 2010! Immediately after graduation ceremonies on June 8, 2010, RHS seniors who have registered will attend the AfterGrad party- at a very terrific secret spot! Seniors will be transported to the secret location and party all night. There they will enjoy FOOD, MUSIC, CASINO GAMES, and MUCH MORE! This is one party seniors shouldn’t miss. After the party, seniors will be transported back to RHS, ensuring a safe, memorable tribute to their last year at Rockford High. However you can’t go if you don’t register.
Registration forms are available in the RHS office. Return the completed form with a check made out for $90 to Rockford AfterGrad 2010. Completed forms and payment can be returned to the RHS office or mailed to Melinda Hutson, 8300 Winter Forest Drive, Rockford, 49341.Registration questions? Contact Melinda at rmtb874@charter.net
The registration fee covers only a portion of the actual cost of the event. Additional fundraising events are ongoing throughout the year.

Paper Drive
Our year round fundraiser is the PAPER DRIVE. Please tell your neighbors, friends and relatives to drop off their paper recyclables. (And you drop yours off too! as far to the front of the trailer as possible!) -including newspapers, magazines,
phone books, cardboard, shredded paper, cereal boxes, junk mail, anything paper – at the semi-trailer parked in the “junior (northeast) lot” at RHS.
K&K NAILS
Please join us on Sunday, April 25 for all your favorite nail services at K&K Nails (D & W location - 183 Marcell Drive NE) from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. K&K Nails will donate all profits to our 2010 AfterGrad fundraiser, so please come out and support our seniors this day! This is a terrific opportunity for AfterGrad and a great way to treat yourself. Please note that only cash and checks will be accepted for this special one-time only event.
D.A.D.'s Tents
D.A.D.’S TENTS AND PARTY RENTALS Order your tents, tables, and other items from D.A.D.’s for your graduation party and AfterGrad 2010 will receive 10% of your order. It’s easy to do:
- Call D.A.D.’s at 863-8988 and reserve your graduation party items
- Make sure you mention Class of 2010 AfterGrad
- Pay for your rental items by May 1
- D.A.D.’s will give 10% to AfterGrad 2010
Thunder Bay Car Wash
Car Wash Coupons After Grad is now selling Thunder Bay car wash coupons. The cost is $28.00 for 5 basic washes – the equivalent of one wash free. Please contact Carrie Kasper at 363-5141 to purchase these coupons for yourself. If you would be willing to sell a group of these to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers, please let Carrie know! This is a great fundraiser for AfterGrad – we earn 40% of the total sales so please participate. Winter is here!
AFTERGRAD DONATIONS NEEDED Please consider a business or personal donation to AfterGrad 2010. Monetary donations, as well as gift cards, goods, and services are greatly appreciated. AfterGrad is a 501c(3) organization.
Many volunteers make the AfterGrad a success. Whether you have ONE hour, one day, or one week to help with the event, GET INVOLVED. Can’t stay up all night at the AfterGrad party? No problem – most volunteers do not stay the entire night – shifts are available. Some of the volunteer opportunities available are; casino, chaperoning, entertainment, security, fundraising, food, and clean up.
