Aquatics
The North Rockford Middle School Pool offers several aquatic programs, including:
· Swimming lessons for ages 18 months and up
· Aqua Jazz and Aqua Flex-Arthritis fitness
· Middle school water polo
· Open swimming
· Riptide swim team practices
The community pool at North Rockford Middle School is handicap accessible (chair lift is provided for those who need assistance getting into the pool), and the water temperature is kept at a warm 84 degrees. Full locker rooms are available (please bring your own locks). Red Cross certified lifeguards are always on deck promoting a safe and fun atmosphere.
The Rockford High School Pool hosts the competitive swimming events for the high school, middle schools, and Riptide swim teams, as well as:
· Morning Lap swims
· Freshmen Center and high school PE classes
· High school lifeguarding class
· High school swim team practices
· Riptide Swim Team practices
