Assistant Superintendent's Welcome
Thank you for your interest in Rockford Public Schools. We are proud of how our students, staff, parents, and community work together to achieve success. We are one of the finest educational institutions in the State of Michigan and the tradition of excellence at Rockford Public Schools allows us to hire the best staff available.
I have been fortunate enough to have been committed to education for the past 22 years, with the last 11 years as an administrator with Rockford Public Schools. I served as Assistant Principal of the Rockford High School Freshman Center for four years before spending seven years as Principal. I taught and coached in the East Grand Rapids Public School system for 11 years prior to “migrating north” to Rockford. I received my bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University, and my master’s degree and Ph.D. from Western Michigan University.
We strive on hiring the highest quality professionals to work with our students. If you are interested in applying for employment with Rockford Public Schools, you must complete an online application. Teaching, paraprofessional and administrative positions require a completed online application and uploaded copies of resume, transcripts, certificates and letters of recommendation. All other support applicants need to complete the online application, and may upload documents they want considered during the interview selection process. If you have any questions regarding this process, please feel free to contact our Human Resources Department.
