Welcome to North Rockford Middle School (NRMS)! At North, we believe that every child matters. We are proud to be recognized as a National Blue Ribbon Exemplary School and have received an “A” from the State of Michigan for the past seven years. North is accredited by AdvancEd, formally known as NCA (North Central Association of Schools and Colleges).

North serves 882 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. The administration consists of the principal, assistant principal, and athletic director/student activities coordinator. There are 58 certified teachers, a media specialist, two counselors, and many professional support staff. We are proud of our State-recognized intervention programs which have been implemented to help our students achieve success! In addition, our students have numerous elective classes to explore, including our award-winning music and art programs. Welcome to North Rockford Middle School, home of the NRMS Rockford Rams!
