6th Grade Advanced Math Testing
Advanced Math (pre-algebra) is the only advanced course offered at ERMS and NRMS in 6th grade. Students qualify for testing for advanced math by either scoring in the top five percent (5%) on 5th grade MEAP math or through teacher or parent recommendation. The math portion of the PLAN Test is administered to determine qualification.
Parent recommendations must be submitted by Monday, March 11, 2013 at 4:00 pm. No exceptions will be made for late submissions for April testing.
Parent recommendations need only be made if the child does not qualify based upon MEAP scores and has not been recommended by the classroom teacher.
