Executive Director's WelcomeWelcome to the Rockford Public Schools Special Services Department, which encompasses the district's Nursing, English Language Learners (ELL), and Special Education Departments. We offer Developmental Kindergarten through 12th grade services for our English Language Learners (ELL), and nursing/health care plans for students who have medical needs. Additionally, the Special Education Department offers a wide continuum of programs and services for students who qualify for special education. Rockford has a full diagnostic staff that conducts student evaluations and provides support services to students, teachers, and parents.
