Attendance AreasElementary (Grades K-5th) Elementary attendance areas are determined by your address. If you are uncertain which elementary school your family is assigned to attend, please contact the Transportation Department at 616.863.6328.
Middle School (Grades 6-8th) Families residing east of Northland Drive/Wolverine Boulevard are assigned to attend East Rockford Middle School, and families residing to the west are assigned to North Rockford Middle School.
High School (Grades 9-12th) All students residing in the Rockford Public School District are assigned to attend the RHS Freshman Center and Rockford High School.
How to Attend a Rockford Public School Other Than Your Assigned School
If you reside in the district and wish to attend an RPS elementary or middle school other than your assigned school, please complete the Schools of Choice Transfer Application and submit to the school to which you are assigned. If you do not reside in the Rockford Public School district, you may be eligible to apply through the Kent ISD Collaborative Schools of Choice Program.
