Kindergarten and Developmental Kindergarten Enrollment

Welcome to Rockford Public Schools’ Kindergarten/Developmental Kindergarten enrollment. As you proceed through this process do not hesitate to contact RPS with any questions (a list of elementary school contacts can be found below). Please be aware that students must be five years old by September 1st when enrolling. Students may attend DK with an Age Waiver if they turn five between September 2nd and December 1st. Current DK students do not need to complete this enrollment process. You will receive an email once all steps are completed. Please note: If you are not a RPS district resident, you must apply for and be accepted in the Schools of Choice program before enrollment is accepted. Thank you!
