September 22, 2020 — In addition to providing audio for all home and away football games, Michigan Sports Radio will provide video of all away football games this season.  You can listen or watch at michigansportsradio.com.

September 16, 2020 — With current restrictions on spectator attendance at events, the RHS Athletic Department in partnership with Beyond the Rock (RHS Broadcasting Production Class) is committed to providing digital access to events so Rockford fans can enjoy the action and support their teams!

Beyond the Rock and Rockford High School are members of the National Federation of High School (NFHS) Network, a streaming platform used by the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA).  Subscribers to the NFHS Network have access to thousands of nationwide events covering a multitude of sports and other activities. Subscriptions run $10.99 a month or $69.99 a year, and you can cancel at any time.  For the cost of roughly two tickets to an event you will have access to a month’s worth of games! Please note that personal subscriptions are intended for use by the subscriber and not for business use. Rockford events will also be broadcast at later dates to our local cable station RCTV, spectrum 190, and Xfinity 23.

Our broadcast team looks forward to the fall season and livestreaming events such as the football competitions (freshman, JV, and varsity) held at The Carlson-Munger Stadium and volleyball matches taking place in the RHS Fieldhouse (gymnasium).  We are working on livestreaming or on-demand broadcasting of other sports such as cross country, tennis, and golf on either the NFHS Network or the Beyond the Rock YouTube Channel.  Away games will often be streamed by the host school. If you have questions, please contact the RHS Broadcast Department at jspringer@rockfordschools.org.

Thank you, and we look forward to providing access to as many high school events as possible!
