Fundraising— We are still looking for a chairperson to handle the possible sale of cards for local and national discounts to your favorite restaurants, entertainment, recreation, movies, golf and more, along with hand-picked local discounts from your "wish list". This position involves coordinating the distribution of the cards and the collection of funds. Please reply to this email if you can help with this or team up with someone else to share the work. Garage/Bake Sale Crew is having a Garage Sale/Bake Sale again this year on March 20 at North Rockford Middle School. Last year we made about $1300 on this event--funds raised go to the general fund of Crew Boosters. 10am-2pm, with doors opening for you to bring your items at 8:30 am. Please price your items, and sort them into the following categories— Housewares/appliances Clothing, then by men, women, girls, boys Electronics Sports Toys Miscellaneous Tables will be labeled with these categories, and you should distribute your items accordingly. Think about helping with this—we’ll need cashiers, straighteners, and rowers will be asked to help people carry in their donations and carry out their purchases. Complete details will be sent out as the time gets closer. On-Going More: Additional Fundraising Opportunities are currently being developed for the remainder of the year. Some current thoughts are: Silent Auction, Pop Can Drives, Candy Bar Sales, Little Caesars Pizza Kits, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Car Wash Coupons, and Pumping Gas for Tips. We need someone to take this on. Ideally, we would like to run at least one fundraiser per month. Fundraising Coordinators: All Fundraising Reports must be completed and turned into the Fundraising Chair as soon as practical after the event.
