Technical Guidlines: Do you just need up with the actual paper set up? Here are some quidelines for a basic report. Basic reports should be written using common, easy to read fonts like Arial or Times. Use size 10 or 12 for the font size. Most papers should be double spaced and paragraphs indented 5 spaces (1 tab.) All margins according to MLA guildlines should be 1 inch, but the default in Word is: 1 inch for the top and bottom and 1.25 for the left and right side, unless your teachers tells you otherwise you should be safe using the defaults but don't make the margins any larger without checking with your teacher. Below are some specific samples. This all assumes you are using standard 8.5 X 11 inch paper. Click on the sample that you would like to see. |
