Meet Mr. Lepech

Back to Homepage

Hello.  My name is William Lepech.  I am on the fourth grade teaching team at Lakes Elementary in Rockford, Michigan.  I love my job and my students.  Although I do feel like I spend a lot of time at school, I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends and living this adventure called life!  Sharing who I am with you is a joy.  I hope that you take a minute to learn a little more about me.

I grew up in Rockford, Michigan with my three younger brothers.  We had two dogs, when I was growing up.  Their names were Hershey and Kate.  Now I have a goldfish in my classroom named Citius.

My father and mother did not work during the summer.  This time was reserved for family vacations.   Coming from a family of four boys, we spent summers at Grand Haven, Michigan and were the biggest beach bums.  My favorite place is still the beach.  We went to Tiger Stadium before the Detroit Tigers moved to their new home at Comerica Park.

I attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Graduating in 2000, I earned a degree in Biology and received my teaching certificate.

I enjoy reading, camping, hiking and being outdoors.  Music is one of my greatest loves.  I sing in a church choir and listen to music all the time.  I love to visit lighthouses and learn about Michigan, its history and great places around the state.

Great Lakes, Great Times

On December 28, 2002, I was married to my beautiful wife, Ann.  I love spending time with her and we share many of the same interests.

On May 24th, Ann and I had a son.  He is a blast!  He is the best kid and we have a great time playing, wrestling and goofing around!

On July 28th, Ann and I had a second son.  He is just a little squirt but everyone in our family loves him!
