Beginning the 2016-2017 school year, you will be able to sign up online for volunteer opportunities for all buildings and activities. If you plan to volunteer at Rockford Public Schools, please see the instructions below on completing the online volunteer form. If you have family members that live out of town and plan to volunteer, simply have them go online and complete the form as well.
Visitors to buildings for meetings, appointments, etc. are not required to complete the volunteer form. Thus, if you are unsure whether or not you will volunteer this school year, please do not complete the form until you are certain. For example, you may look at your child’s schedule and notice an opportunity to volunteer for an activity in January. There is no need to complete the form until shortly before you actually volunteer.
We will continue to do background checks on all volunteers. By completing the online volunteer form, you are granting us permission to complete a background check.
Instructions on how to sign up to volunteer at Rockford Public Schools:
- Go to https://v2ms.rockfordschools.org (notice the “https”)
- Click on the “Add User” icon on right-hand side of screen
- Enter information to create your account (please use your legal name)
