Laser Tag

Help create an exciting opportunity for our school.
Thank you for the donations! Let's hit our goal!
Dear East Rockford Middle School Families,
At East Rockford Middle School, we are committed to creating opportunities for students to connect with one another, build friendships, and engage in healthy, face-to-face activities that help them step away from screens and phones. We know how important it is for our students to learn, grow, and have fun together in ways that strengthen our school community.
This fall, we are excited to introduce a laser tag course as a new activity for our students. The course will provide a safe and fun space where students can work as a team, practice communication, and enjoy friendly competition. To make this vision a reality, we have partnered with Boy Scout Troop 264 of Rockford/Cedar Springs, who have generously volunteered their time and expertise to help us design and build the course.
The only cost associated with this project is the purchase of lumber and basic building supplies. We are seeking to raise $1,580 to cover these materials. Lowes has agreed to provide these materials at cost. Once built, the course will be available for all our students to enjoy for years to come, making this a lasting investment in student life at East Rockford.
We are asking families who are able to consider contributing to help us reach our goal. Every donation, large or small, will directly support the construction of the laser tag course and ensure our students have access to this exciting new opportunity.
If you would like to contribute, please send cash or check donations to the main office. Checks can be made out to East Rockford Middle School. If you have an idea on how to help out, please reach out to Mr. Dillon. We are deeply grateful for your support in helping us create meaningful, engaging activities that bring our students together.
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to making East Rockford Middle School a place where students can thrive.
With gratitude,
Mr. Derek Dillon
