School Age Childcare FAQs

Rockford Before and After Care is a prepaid program. The BAC program is tuition based; it is not funded by Rockford Public Schools. We do not offer sibling discounts. Tuition is charged based on enrollment, not attendance, i.e., illness, vacation. If BAC is open, you will be charged if your child was scheduled to attend.

Per Student Fees

• Non-Refundable Enrollment Fee: $40 per student
  There is no sibling discount 
• Morning Session: $10 per day per child
• Afternoon Session: $15 per day per child
• Early Release: $20 per day per child
• Full Day BAC: $45 per day per child
• AM Delay of School Care: $13 per child

Morning Session - 7 AM until start of school

Afternoon Session - end of school until 6 PM

1. Login to your Arux account
2. Select your child's account and location 
3. Select change schedule
4. Select the month and days for Morning, Afternoon and Early Release care
5. Submit

The BAC calendar will open until the 25th to enter your schedule or to make changes to an existing schedule. After the calendar lockout date of the 26th, your schedule cannot be removed, and you will be invoiced. We do not credit or swap for scheduled days that are cancelled.

Payments are made in your Arux account. You can also opt to set up automatic payments in Arux.

We provide care for early release and half days. We do NOT provide care on snow days. Full day care is available for holiday breaks to currently enrolled BAC families; a separate registration is required and will be sent out prior to the holiday break; the cost is $45 per day.
