Happy Holidays from the front office at Edgerton Trails! We hope you enjoy the break from busy schedules and have a great holiday season. Next week will be a fun week as we have our Holiday Spirit Days (see schedule below) and Holiday reading with Mrs. Ouellette and Mrs. Rotenthaler.

Winter gear reminder
Winter weather is here! Please make sure your child comes to school each day dressed for the cold with a warm coat, hat, gloves, boots, and snow pants when needed. We go outside for recess whenever it’s safe, so being prepared helps students stay warm, safe, and ready to enjoy their day. Extra labeled gear is always helpful in case items get wet or misplaced. Thank you for helping us keep everyone cozy and safe this winter!
Saddle Ridge Family Support needed
We have a Saddle Ridge Family that is looking for help with getting their 2nd grader to and from school each day. If you live in the neighborhood and would be willing to help out with this please contact Jen Perry in the front office (326.1030). This would not need to be everyday but just a consistent day each week and we will make a schedule. Thank you for considering.

pARAS NEEDED TO SUBSTITUTE AT eDGERTON tRAILS
We are looking for caring, dependable individuals to help support our students by serving as paraprofessional substitutes when our regular para pros are out. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of our school community. Prior experience working in schools is helpful, but not required — we’re happy to provide guidance and support!If you or someone you know might be interested, please contact Melissa Schad (mschad@rockfordschools.org or call 616-326-1030) for more information. Even being available occasionally makes a big difference for our students and staff. Thank you for helping us spread the word and for your continued support of our school!
TOYS FOR TOTS AT EDGERTON TRAILS
Edgerton Trails is collecting toys now until December 11. Last year we brought in over 300 toys for children in Kent County. This season we hope to match and surpass this giving. Our Student Council is organizing this initiative. All the toys collected will be donated to Toys for Tots through Channel 13.

Edgerton Trails Yearbooks-ordering
Students will be bringing home a yearbook order on Friday. Orders can be placed online at ybpay.lifetouch.com. The office does not order extra yearbooks, please order from Lifetouch if you are interested in having a yearbook for your student.
