Move Up Day
Next week our Kindergarten through 4th grade will have Move Up Day. What is Move Up Day? An opportunity for students to visit the teachers and classrooms of their next grade. Teachers are ready to introduce themselves to the upcoming students and this allows students to meet the teachers for next year and visit the neighborhood. Move Up Day will happen on Monday June 2 in the afternoon.
Good Things Happening at E.T.
This year some of our Second and Fifth Grade students spent time in our LET (Lower Elementary Transition) classroom. Students from all the classes benefitted from these friendships with our 2nd and 5th grade students acting as role models. We look forward to continuing this program next year!
Thank you to Lauren Rodewald and Kaitlin Olson for all they did to plan for our VIP Breakfast. Our turnout was amazing with great food, great snacks and our community coming together. Watching kids play outside on the playground with their specials guests was the best. We are awaiting the construction of a Gaga ball pit on the playground. An Eagle Scout Candidate who is also a student at RHS is building it and our PTO funded this project.
School Wide Lemonade Social
JUNE 2, 2025
Our 4th grade students have been reading the book The Lemonade Wars and on June 2 we will have a Lemonade Social in our backyard by the Library. Students are encouraged to bring coins to support the sale with all proceeds going to support a non profit. The cost for each glass will be $0.50 to $1.00. We look forward to supporting our 4th graders in this book celebration and fundraiser.
FIELD DAY
We are looking forward to having our first ever Field Day experience at Edgerton Trails. Ms. Zappone has been planning a great day for our students. Please help the day be successful by:
- Having your student wear their Edgerton Trails class t-shirt.
- Putting on sunscreen prior to coming to school.
- Remember to bring a water bottle.
- Thank you to all the parent volunteers who are helping out on Field Day.

I know we aren't even done with this year! Here are a few nuggets of info. for all of you planners.
