fundraiser final days
Thank you for the support of our PTO fundraiser. As of Thursday at 4:00 PM we are less than $5000.00 away from our goal. The students are having fun with the friendly competition between classes. The class that raises the most will celebrate by having their teacher camp out with Mrs. Ouellette.
With all of the "asks" this time of year, we appreciate your support of our fundraiser and are excited to celebrate with our kids as we wrap up with our Walk a Thon on October 17.
parent pick up reminders
In order to have a safe and orderly pick up at the end of the day we are asking for your help with the following:
- Parents that are coming to meet students who walk home please stay by the bike rack area.
- If you are a parent parking in the parking lot and want to walk up to get your student, please have your card with the last name on it and stand by the grassy area with the blue cones. When the sidewalk gets full it is difficult for our Parapros to get students to their cars.
- Students cannot walk to the front of the building as we do not have para support there.
- If you are using the parent pick up loop, please stay in your vehicle and the para will bring your child to your car and help them in or out if necessary.
- Pull all the way forward if space opens up and they will bring your child to your car.
- Thank you for your cooperation and help! :)
Walkathon schedule and route
Date: October 17
Students are encouraged to wear their classroom Edgerton Trails T-Shirt!
Parents and families are welcome to line the walking trail for all grades as they walk. Signs, noisemakers and encouragement along the way as we make this a community event. The walking path is listed below.
DK and Kindergarten will walk around the campus of Edgerton Trails rather than the mile loop. Families looking to support should line the front of the school from the main entrance to the drop off loop.
First Grade -5th Grade Route: Students will leave the school and cross Sunset towards the tot lot. Lisa Meyer will be there to help the kiddos cross the street. The kids will continue down North Saddle and loop to the right by the sewer house. They will then come up Sunset and turn left at the tot lot to head back to the school. Teachers will lead the line and as a parent to bring up the rear to keep their class together. I will add some sidewalk chalk along the way to keep everyone going on the right direction. I'll post on the Saddle Ridge Neighborhood page again to see if we can get some houses to put up decorations, music, chalk, bubbles, etc.

Halloween At Edgerton Trails
On Friday, October 31 at 1:30 we will have a Halloween Parade with our students. Parents and families are invited to attend and to line the Parent Drop Off Loop and the sidewalk in front of the school. All students will participate.
We will continue to follow the same practice of teachers working with room parents to provide a party experience and are excited for our first of many Halloween Parades. See you there!
Edgerton Trails is looking for your gently used costumes! If you have costumes that you are willing to donate, please have your student drop them off in the box by the office! Please bag your costume (and all pieces) together in one Ziplock bag with a label on the outside of the bag with what the costume is and what size! Thank you for your donations!

STeam night
We are excited to begin planning for this year’s STEAM Night on Monday, November 11th! STEAM Night is a fun and engaging evening where students and families explore hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
To make this event a success, we’d love your help! You do not need any prior STEAM experience—just a willingness to be involved. There are many ways to participate, such as:
- Leading or joining a planning committee (volunteers, raffle, food trucks, etc.)
- Helping the day of the event
- Connecting us with community partners who may want to contribute or participate
If you are interested, please take a moment to fill out our short survey:
Your support makes STEAM Night possible, and we look forward to working together to make this an unforgettable event for our students and families!
Thank you,
