As we move through the stretch between Thanksgiving and winter break, this can be an exciting but challenging time for middle school students. Routines are interrupted, energy is high, and our kids sometimes need a little extra support staying focused on learning and positive behavior. We appreciate all you do at home to reinforce expectations, encourage good habits, and partner with us during this time of year.I’d like to invite you to our next Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meeting on Thursday at 9:00 AM at Central Office. We will be reviewing our building action plans centered on student behavior and beginning planning for next school year. Your perspective as parents is incredibly valuable in this work, and we’d love to have you at the table as we shape our next steps together.

Policy for picking up your student DURING the school day:

Please have your student come to the main office to pick up their pass when they arrive at school in the morning. A note stating the time they need to leave is helpful in case they forget the time they are leaving. This policy is to discourage calling into classrooms and interrupting teacher instruction. When you arrive to pick up your student please wait in the vestibule for them and sign them out on our sign out sheet.

If your student is sick or unable to attend school for the whole day please leave a message on our attendance line 616-863-6140 stating the reason for the absence. Please spell your student's first and last name.
