Dear Families,
Welcome to the latest edition of our RHS Newsletter! We’re excited to bring you the latest updates and highlights from around our campus.
Club Fair -
Our annual RHS Club Fair took place last week. We had over 30 clubs represented by student leaders. This is a great opportunity for students to become involved, make new friends, or learn a new skill. You can find more information about all of our clubs by clicking this link. RHS Clubs
Students of the Month -
Our Student of the Month program has started up for the school year. Each month students will be recognized by their teachers for demonstrating qualities based on the theme for each month. The monthly themes are: Motivated, Creative, Cheerful, Honest But Kind, Determined, and Growth. This is a fun and meaningful way to showcase our awesome students. Stay tuned for more info each month!
Flex Time -
This week, we had our first Flex time sessions. Students could get help in a class or attend an extension to learn more or differently. Our staff have spent a lot of time collaborating during early release times and beyond to make this time as impactful and individualized as possible for students. We have a team that is closely monitoring this to respond to any hiccups and continue to improve the experience for our students. Every week, the program is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for students to sign up or see what sessions they have been assigned to. Students do this every week at rtischeduler.com
Homecoming Dance Info -
The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, October 4th. Attending the dance is a privilege and students must meet attendance and behavior requirements. Students may not miss more than five days of school prior to the dance. Students are also expected to follow the RHS code of conduct. Multiple violations of the RHS code of conduct may jeopardize attendance at homecoming. Tickets are $25.00 each and are sold during lunches through next Thursday.
Senior Picture Deadline -
Senior Pictures are due by December 12, 2025 in order to be in the yearbook. Email photos to: jfeeley@rockfordschools.org
2025 RPS Bond Proposal and Kent ISD Enhancement Millage Proposal-

Student Parking Permits
If your student drives to school, they need to purchase a parking permit. Parking permits are sold in the Security Office for 20.00 cash or check.
RHS Yearbook INFO
If you ordered a yearbook last school year (24-25), it will be arriving in October. Yearbooks are shipped directly to your home.
If you're interested in purchasing a yearbook for the 25-26 school year, please visit yearbookforever.com. In the school name field, enter Rockford High School and be sure to choose Rockford High School in Michigan.
RHS Athletics
All digital tickets for RHS athletic events may be purchased at GoFan.com or by clicking the link below. Also, you may consider purchasing a family pass, adult pass or student pass for your student by clicking the link below. Student passes for the school year are only $25 so it's a great deal for any student who enjoys attending athletic games.
