Welcome to the latest edition of the RHS Newsletter - Week 8 is wrapped up at RHS! Our students have been inspiring to watch them work with staff and each other as we navigate our school year journey together. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you or your students have questions or need anything.
Our team has a goal to grow opportunities students have to earn college credit, certifications, and career experience for students while they attend Rockford High School. This is a goal that extends beyond our walls and we want to make sure we collect input from staff, students, parents, and our community as we build our long-term vision for our programming. Completing this form will give us essential information to shape our next steps:

RFC and RHS final exams for trimester one will occur November 14 and 15, 2025. Please review the attached exam schedule. Lunch is served on both dates. The offices do not require a parent phone call for students who have completed all exams during the scheduled periods and leave after the 5th period exam on Friday, November 14, but they will require transportation to do this as busses will still arrive between 2:30-3:00 p.m. The exam schedule can be found HERE.
September's Student of the Month theme was "Motivated. Twenty four students were nominated. Next month's theme is "Creative".
Our "Flex Time" has been a big success. Aside from intervention time to get extra help in a core class, there are many other offerings for students to choose from each week. Some highlights from this past week are shown below.
The National Honor Society students are holding a food drive running now through October 24th.
Lost and Found - We have an abundance of water bottles and other items in our lost and found. Encourage your student to take a look if they are missing something. Of note, items found that are of value (airpods, phones, keys, jewelry, etc.) are kept in the front office.
