a note from mr. Karel

Dear Families,

What a busy week!  Kudos and congratulations to Mrs. Saincome and our Valley View students for another successful and seriously adorable holiday concert.  The hours upon hours of preparation and practice were evident in the performance.  The students certainly brought the joy!  We hope you enjoyed the concert as much as I did.

The Santa Shop at Valley View Elementary is a long-standing tradition that our students look forward to every year. This special event isn’t possible without the dedication and support of our wonderful parent volunteers. In the days leading up to the Santa Shop, our library is transformed into a festive North Pole, complete with holiday decorations, trees, and cheerful touches that make the experience magical for our students.

We are deeply grateful to all the parents, grandparents, and community members whose time, creativity, and enthusiasm keep this tradition alive at Valley View. Your efforts bring joy to our students and help create a truly memorable experience for every family during the holidays.

Warmly,
Mr. Karel

Hearing and vision screening

Valley View’s hearing and vision screening will be December 15-18.  Grades K, 2nd, and 4th will have their hearing screened.  Grades 1st, 3rd, and 5th will have their vision screened.   Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you!

Toy drive

Valley View's Student Council will be leading a toy drive this year. Our school leaders were presented with many opportunities to give back, and they felt very strongly about giving to the community in which we all live. Tree of Hope is sponsored by North Kent Connect, and they are currently servicing 1,600 children. If you are able to, please consider sending a new, unwrapped toy to school between November 24th and December 12th. North Kent Connect and Valley View's Student Council thanks you!
