Families can choose from a variety of half-day programs for both 3- and 4-year-olds, including Community Education Preschool, Child Development Lab, Spanish Immersion, and Montessori.

With a range of programs designed to meet different needs and learning styles, we’re confident you’ll find the right fit for your child.

Full Day Preschool

Time: 6:00–7:30 PM

Registration Information

Registration for Half-Day Preschool Programs for the 2026–2027 school year will open on February 25th at 6:00 PM.

Visit the registration website on February 25th at 6:00 PM and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your application.

Developmental Kindergarten/Kindergarten

If your child turns 5 on or before December 1, 2025, he/she is eligible to enroll in the Rockford Public Schools Developmental Kindergarten/Kindergarten program.

DK/Kindergarten Enrollment Process
