GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD TV) – We know a lot of kids are counting down the days until winter break, which seems like a good time to share some good news! We’re going to introduce you to the latest recipient of the One School at a Time grant, which is given out by Family Fare! Today we’re taking you to River Valley Academy in Rockford, an alternative high school that really focuses on students who need non-traditional support in the classroom to help them stay on the road to graduation and future success! Through the grant, they’re hoping to put a greater emphasis on career exploration and workplace experiences.
