Rockford High School Families,

I hope this message finds you and your family enjoying a restful and joyful summer. My name is Ricky Clark, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Rockford High School. No words can describe my passion for our students, our staff, or our community. My wife, Kassy, and I live in Rockford and our 4 kids attend Rockford Public Schools. You will see us around town and attending all the events RHS has to offer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, introduce yourself, and share your thoughts—I welcome your partnership and your voice. I have served as Assistant Principal at Rockford High School for nearly 7 years. Prior to that I was a teacher and administrator at North Rockford Middle School. Before coming to Rockford, I taught at high schools in the Grand Rapids and Lansing areas. As a teacher, I have worked with students in almost every range of the educational setting; from self-contained special education students to advanced Social Studies and Math. In my time at RHS, we have upheld proud traditions while blazing new paths forward. This is what we must continue to do. I’ve seen firsthand the opportunities for students at RHS and I am excited to continue to grow ways for students to find connections at RHS.
