A note from Mrs. O.
If you love winter, then this was your week: snow, cold and snow days. I am looking forward to five straight days of school next week for our students. Next week most of our students will work to finish the math portion of their NWEA test. Reading was taken last week and once all scores are compiled, we will use the data to create instructional shifts to best meet all our student's needs.
February and March will be busy months with our VIP Breakfast, conferences. our Art Show and Book BINGO on March 11. Have a great weekend and stay warm!
VIP Breakfast
Dates:
February 10: Last Names A-F
February 11: Last Names G-N
February 12: Last Names O-Z
Time is 7:45 am-8:20 am. Students should have an adult with them until 8:20 am.
Where: Edgerton Trails Cafeteria
The PTO sponsors this opportunity for our students to share a pastry with a VIP. We ask that you come on your assigned day to allow us to plan for food and to accommodate the crowd in our cafeteria. Please leave younger siblings at home and have your student chose 1 VIP to bring to this event. Your student's VIP can be a relative, friend, coach or neighbor.
February mail month
February is Edgerton Trails mail month! Students, staff, and family can draw pictures, write letters or postcards and we will deliver the mail two days a week. Students are encouraged to write to one another, and family is also welcome to send in mail.
How to send mail: Please have all student mail addressed with student name, room number & teacher name. Include a return address if for some reason your mail can't be delivered and it will be returned to your student. Mail will be delivered on Tuesdays & Thursdays throughout the month of February.
