A note from Mrs. O.

Hello Edgerton Families!

I wanted to share an update on the events of Monday and the fire drill evacuation.  Our students and staff did exactly what we have practiced when we do fire drills.  Looking to how we can best communicate during an emergency, I spoke with RPS Central Office and I asked if messages could be sent to parents/guardians to phones (similar to snow day communication) and that indeed will happen in the future.

Thank you for your patience and support as we worked through the events of Monday.  Our Maintenance Supervisor brought in electricians to repair the boilers that were damaged in the storm on Tuesday and determine if any updating of equipment was required.

I hope you and your family enjoy the long holiday weekend.  The next two weeks are packed full of fun events for our students which we are all looking forward to.

Move Up Day:

On May 29th Students DK-4th will have an opportunity to meet the teachers of the next grade.  This allows our students to visit the space they will be in next year and meet the teachers. This is an exciting time for our students and teachers as they look ahead to next year.
