a note from Mr. Clark
Hello Parents and Guardians,
As the second trimester comes to a close, great opportunities and celebrations are on the horizon at Rockford High School. Spring sports will be kicking off soon, bringing new opportunities for our student-athletes to shine. Prom is just around the corner, promising a memorable night for our upperclassmen, and graduation preparations are underway as we look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026. It’s a busy and exciting time to be a Ram as we head into the final stretch of the school year! Listed below are a few important highlights to keep in mind.
New Cell Phone Policy: The attached letter was sent home to families regarding a new cell phone policy that will go into effect on March 2, 2026. Click here to read the letter and view the policy: New Cell Phone Policy
Prom: Prom is coming up on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Participants must meet the criteria for attendance and behavior. See details here: Prom Attendance Requirements
Attendance: Attendance at school is important to your student's success. If your student is not able to be at school or will be late arriving, remember to call the attendance office to excuse them. Unexcused absences and tardies can result in discipline. You can reach the attendance line 24 hours a day at 616-863-6032.
Graduation Info: The last day of school for seniors will be on May 13, 2026. The graduation ceremony will take place at Calvin University on May 18th. Students will be given 5 tickets per family. If you need more than 5, we will have extras available. You or your student can sign up with the front office in early May when the tickets become available.
Senior After-Grad Party: It's not too late to sign up for the After-Grad party! This will be a memorable evening of entertainment, games, music, food, and fun! Students can pick up a registration form in the front office.
