News from Sra. Santillán

Hello Roguewood Families,

As we head into our final week of school, there is a sense of excitement and celebration in the air at Roguewood. This time of year brings many special traditions as we wrap up another wonderful school year together.

Spring NWEA reports are being sent home and will be coming home in student backpacks. Spanish Immersion families will also receive Spanish proficiency results from the Avant STAMP assessment. We hope these reports provide a meaningful snapshot of the growth and learning your child has demonstrated this year.

Across the building, we are returning library books, cleaning out lockers and cubbies, and making plans for fun end-of-year activities and memory making.

We are also excited for tonight’s Summer Send Off, organized by our incredible PTO, along with our student Art Show. We hope you are able to join us for an evening of celebration and community.

As we near the finish line, I want to sincerely thank our Roguewood families for your endless support, partnership, and collaboration throughout the school year. It truly takes all of us working together to make Roguewood such a special place for children to learn and grow.

Kind regards,
Amie Santillán, Proud Roguewood Principal

Planning on moving?

As we begin preparing for the next school year, we want to make sure our records are accurate and that every student is set up for success on day one. If your family is planning to move over the summer, whether it is just down the street or out of the district, please notify the front office as soon as possible.

Why do we need to know?

  • In-District Moves: We need to update your contact information and ensure your child is assigned to the correct bus route and/or attendance zone.
  • Out-of-District Moves: We can help streamline the transfer of records to your child’s new school to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Class Planning: Helps us finalize staffing and class sizes.

How to Notify Us:

Note: If you are staying put, no action is needed! We look forward to seeing you back in the fall. Thank you for helping us stay organized!

If you sign your student up to receive Hand2Hand, they will continue to receive the weekend bag of food each week throughout the school year. Bags will be discreetly delivered to your child at school.
