- Complete your PowerSchool parent login and student verification: Details on how to complete this task are in article below. It is IMPERATIVE to complete the verification if you want your student to participate in school related events like field trips and picture day. This is also where you can add other guardians/emergency contacts, let us know of any changes to medical history, address changes, and other important information. Powerschool -FAQ
- For students with daily or emergency medications, review our nursing policies (Nursing Services – Rockford Public Schools (rockfordschools.org), fill out appropriate paperwork and drop medications off to the office before or on the first day of school. Medication should be dropped off in its original container.
Student class placement
Student class placements will be shared with families on
Monday, August 17.
We know students are anxiously awaiting their classroom assignments, and we are excited too! Our Roguewood team works hard to ensure students are placed in a setting where they can learn best. We also embrace a collaborative culture in which student data is shared and addressed as a team. Because of this, students may be placed in one classroom, but receive interventions or extensions from another member of our team. This ensures students are learning at high levels in all content areas every day. Thank you for trusting us with this process and partnering with us in the upcoming year. We can't wait for the first day of school on August 24!
