Fifth Grade Supply List:

Personal use items: (These items will be kept in students’ personal bin)

  • Small zippered pencil pouch (quantity 1)

  • Comfortable headphones - Label with student's name (quantity 1)

  • Folders (a total of 3 folders are needed): Sturdy homework folder, preferably plastic - Label with student's name and “homework” (quantity 1) Folders of any type - Label with student's name (quantity 2)

  • “1-Subject” lined-paper notebook - Label with student's name (quantity 1)

  • Basic calculator - Label with student’s name 

  • Water bottle (preferably a “sweat-free” bottle)

  • Gym shoes to keep in school locker - Label with student’s name.

  • Optional: Mechanical pencils and/or Erasable pens (any color/quantity)

  • Optional: Colored pencils and/or washable markers (plenty available in the classroom!)

  • Optional: Full size scissors (plenty available in the classroom!)

Community use items: (These items will be kept in open bins for sharing)

  • Ticonderoga pencils (quantity 1 pack)

  • Pencil top erasers (quantity 1 pack)

  • Permanent markers a.k.a Sharpies (All sizes, colors, and quantities appreciated!)

  • Post-Its (quantity 1 pack)

  • Dry erase markers - all colors & sizes accepted. (quantity 6, but the more the merrier in this case!)

We appreciate any items that you are able to provide! Please know that the fifth grade teachers are able to aid in obtaining these items, should there be that need. Our goal is to create an equitable environment for all.

Students are welcome to bring school supplies to open house or during the first week of school. To help our students build strong organizational habits and limit distractions, we ask that only the items on the list are brought into the classroom.
