Every Student, Every Space, Every Day

Dear Belmont Families,

It's August and officially "back-to-school" month! We hope you have had a wonderful summer with your families, and look forward to seeing you at Open House on Wednesday, August 19. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for our kindergarten families and at 6:00 pm for our 1st-5th grade families.

Please find linked below and on our Belmont website, recommended school supply lists. Please keep in mind that these are recommended and not required. We are happy to provide supplies for students that need them.

Student placements will be shared with families on Monday, August 17 through PowerSchool. We are preparing to share PowerSchool, our new student information system (SIS), with families and encourage you to look for district communication about how to navigate this platform once it becomes available.

If you are planning to pick-up your child at the end of the school day, please complete the form linked below. We know the first week of school requires a bit of additional patience during arrival and dismissal times, and this information will help us prepare as best we can.

With excitement,

Rachel DeKuiper, Principal

Student class placement

Student class placements will be shared with families on

Monday, August 17.

We know students are anxiously awaiting their classroom assignments, and we are excited too! Our Belmont team works hard to ensure students are placed in a setting where they can learn best. We also embrace a collaborative culture in which student data is shared and addressed as a team. Because of this, students may be placed in one classroom, but receive interventions or extensions from another member of our team. This ensures students are learning at high levels in all content areas every day. Thank you for trusting us with this process and partnering with us in the upcoming year. We can't wait for the first day of school on August 24!

School Assistance Program (SAP)

Pine Rest’s School Assistance Program (SAP) is a mental health support service designed to help students and families address emotional and wellness challenges. Through this program, students and their families receive confidential access to short-term counseling, free consultations (including legal, eldercare, financial, real estate, infant feeding), and referral services at no cost. Our hope is that by offering early intervention and connecting individuals with appropriate care, the SAP reduces barriers to mental health support, promotes resilience, and strengthens the partnership between schools, families, and mental health professionals. Call 800-442-0809 and press 1. Say "I have a SAP with Belmont Elementary".
