Dear Belmont Families,
It was wonderful to see so many faces at Open House on August 19! It is such an exciting time of year and we loved having Belmont students and families in the building! Thank you again for joining us and thank you to our PTO for the popsicles, spirit wear samples, and photo opportunities!
This school year we are once again embracing the RAMS acronym of being Respectful, Accountable, Motivated, and Safe. We are a RAMS family at Belmont and committed to taking care of each other in all of our learning spaces. Your support of these schoolwide expectations at home is greatly appreciated!
Katie and Holly in the front office have been actively working with families to make sure PowerSchool is accessible to all. If you are still struggling with access, please reach out. We have a little list of unique situations that we are leaning on our tech department for. If we can't help you, we will add you to the list!
Additionally, if you have any busing questions or concerns, please contact Matt Puett, RPS Director of Transportation, at mpuett@rockfordschools.org. Thank you in advance for your patience and flexibilty during the first week of school as additional time will likely be needed when navigating this year's bus routes.
Speaking of transportation, if you are planning to pick-up your student at the end of the school day, you should have received a number at Open House to hang from your rearview mirror. If you still need to sign up or didn't yet recieve a number, we will be sure to get it to you on the first day of school.
With excitement,
Rachel DeKuiper, Principal
