Admission and Withdrawal PolicyAll required paperwork must be complete before the child may begin participation in the Hola Amigos Preschool. The following paperwork needs to be returned to us before the child’s first day in school:
- Child Information Card
- Child Profile Form
- Health Form
- Release Form
- RPS Pest Management Information
Your child must be three years old before September 1 and completely toilet trained to participate in the program. He or she must be an independent bathroom user. This means that your child can independently go into the bathroom, pull down his or her clothing, sit on the toilet, wipe, redress, wash hands, and come back out to rejoin the group without any adult assistance. If there is any part of this process which your child needs help with, now is the time to teach him or her to be independent. The teachers do not have time to go into the bathroom and help with wiping, dressing, or hand washing. Each day before school, choose your child’s clothing carefully so that he or she is wearing clothing that is easy to get on and off. If we feel that your child is not adjusting to the preschool program, we will advise you and suggest other options. If it is necessary to drop your child from the program, you will be given a notice of termination.
