In May 2019, the Rockford community approved two proposals to address facility needs throughout the district and to provide funds to promote collaborative learning and innovation in the classroom.  These bond and sinking funds are expected to generate $185 million over the course of the next 10 years.  Due to the Board of Education’s restructuring of bonds prior to the election, taxpayers will see an expected full 1.0 mill net reduction in property tax levies after the passage of the proposals.

As soon as the community gave us the green light, we got to work right away to map out the projects, which will be done in three phases over the next 10 years. Following is a draft timeline, which has been developed with the understanding that dates may be adjusted as the projects take shape.  Please continue to check back for project updates.
