Morning shift – 8:15 – 11:30

Lunch shift – 11:45 – 1:00

Afternoon shift – 1:00 – 3:45

What is Watch D.O.G.S.?

WATCH D.O.G.S is a father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.

WHO are Watch D.O.G.S.?

Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school.

What will you be doing as a Watch D.O.G.?

• Check in the office (wearing your “official” Watch D.O.G.S t-shirt)
• Greet students as they arrive in the morning
• Help out in your child’s classroom
• Help out at lunch and have fun with the students on the playground

2. Don’t forget to complete your required online volunteer form for Rockford Public Schools before your scheduled Watch D.O.G.S day at https://v2ms.rockfordschools.org (notice the “https”).
   1. If you are new to Rockford Public Schools, click on the “Add User” icon on the right-hand side of the screen and enter your information to create your account (please use your legal name).
   2. If you completed the online volunteer form last year, simply log into v2ms using the login user id and password you created last year. This will prompt a background check for this year.
