Child Development Lab Virtual Tour
Child Development Lab
Online enrollment for the Child Development Lab, Community Ed, Montessori and Spanish preschools is currently underway at rps.digitalsignup.com. A non-refundable deposit is required to register.
Children have many opportunities to learn independence, make decisions, develop creativity and practice social and kindergarten readiness skills in an environment of caring, qualified instructors and students. Curiosity and a love of learning are developed through experiences with nature, art and family focused activities.
This program is located at Rockford High School and utilizes high school students enrolled in child development and life skills classes in this program. Classes meet 2 ½ hours each Tuesday and Thursday morning for three year olds, and Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning for four year olds. We do not offer a sibling discount. All of our staff are trained in CPR and first aid. Visit us on Facebook.
Our activities are planned with great care and thought. We use current research on child and brain development, as well as the guidelines set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, to plan and sequence each day and the entire school year.
