Spanish Immersion Kindergarten Enrollment Parent Information NightÂ

This information session is the first step for parents interested in enrolling their future Kindergartener for the upcoming school year. Parents should attend this session to learn more about Kindergarten enrollment and Immersion education.
Immersion Classroom ToursÂ
January 19 and 20, 2017Â
Immersion tours will be held at the school starting at 9:00 a.m. and lasting 30 minutes. These tours are for parents who do not currently have a child already enrolled at Roguewood. Parents will receive a tour of the building and possibly walk through a classroom to see learning in progress. Parents, please make arrangements for your child(ren) during this building tour as this is for parents only. Thank you!
Parents must contact the school to sign up for one of these classroom tours.Â
Application for Enrollment Collection PeriodÂ
January 20 – February 17, 2017Â
Applications for enrollment into Rockford Spanish Immersion must be collected from Roguewood Elementary School and returned to Roguewood Elementary School during this period. All applications returned during this time are treated the same. A first come- first served rule does not apply. Regardless of your neighborhood school, any student wishing to attend the Spanish Immersion program must have a completed application submitted during this timeline.
Applications for enrollment must be returned by 4:00 PM on February 17, 2017
LotteryÂ
March 9, 2017 @ 6:00 p.m.
There will only be a lottery if more applications are returned than is space available. This event will be held at the Administration Building located at 350 N. Main St. in Rockford. Parents are invited to attend, however, any parent of a student awarded admittance into Spanish Immersion will be contacted by Roguewood.
Enrollment Status NotificationÂ
These will be mailed to parents prior to the annual Spring Break starting in April each year.
